- непреднамеренный контакт с опасными токоведущими частями при напряжении до 1000 В переменного тока и 1500 В постоянного тока в процессе работы электроустановки, системы или электрооборудования в особых условиях эксплуатации (см. раздел 8);
- непреднамеренное физическое приближение к опасным токоведущим частям при высоком напряжении.
Барьеры могут быть удалены с помощью ключа или инструмента, но должны быть закреплены таким образом, чтобы непреднамеренное их удаление было маловероятным.
В случаях, когда барьер отделен от опасных токоведущих частей с помощью основной изоляции и является открытой проводящей частью, должны быть приняты меры для защиты при наличии повреждения (см. раздел 6).
